Charging Options
The Hyundai IONIQ 5 comes with a portable charging cable, which can be used on any Australian domestic power point. Using this method will take, wait for it, up to 30 hours to charge your Ioniq 5 to full! There are two different variants, the Standard Range and Long Range models, with two different battery packs, so your charging times will vary. In Australia, Hyundai is only offering the long range variant.
That's why we recommend Ioniq 5 owners purchase a dedicated home charging station to power their vehicle. JET Charge is Hyundai's official recommended partner, and as such you can choose from a range of charging stations from your Hyundai Dealer. If you're unsure, you can always give us a call.
